Consigning Furniture, Art and Other Decorative Items:

Those antique and gently-used furnishings and decorative items aroud your home, attic and basement could be the finishing touch needed in someone else's home—and bring you extra money. We accept furniture, lamps, pottery, crystal and collectibles. We also accept small area rugs, garden decor and some seasonal items.  Come by with your small items any time during store hours (and bring along or email photos of larger items for approval before you truck them to the store). Please call today for an appointment to bring in your consignments.

To be saleable in our store, furniture must be clean and in excellent condition.  Evaluating your furniture on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, we look for pieces that are in between an 8 and a 10. If you have pets or allow smoking in your home, please insure the furniture is free of any associated fur, stains and odors.  All furniture items must have an original value of at least $50. 

We welcome quality items that have a timeless sense of style.  Out-of-date furniture can be well constructed and in pristine condition, but if the style is not saleable today, then we would not be able to handle your merchandise.  We are happy to view photos of your items before you bring them to the store.  We do not accept pressboard-constructed or assembly-required pieces.

What is Accepted?   Furniture, small furnishings, home decor accessories, crystal, area rugs, original artworks, high-quality lighting fixtures, hand-crafted pottery and hand-crafted sculptures.  All items must be clean, polished and in good repair (no chips, cracks, holes, tears or stains).  All items must have an initial value of $50 or more. 

Acceptance is always dependent on condition and space availability in the store.  We do not accept posters or mass-produced pieces unless they are considered vintage prints.  

For your convenience, there is a loading zone in front of the store for your use when dropping off your furniture items for consignment.  

The store reserves the right to refuse any items that do not appear saleable or do not fit within the store inventory.  Large items should be pre-approved (via photos) before being brought to the store. 

Where possible, please be prepared to provide the following information:

a. When/where the item(s) were purchased.

b. Amount was paid for each item.

c. Any history on your item(s) that could attract interest.

Furniture, antiques, artworks and collectibles remain on the sales floor for 60 days. 

Determining a selling price: Condition, style and function are key components in determining price. If you have the information please share with us where you bought the piece, how old it is, how much you paid for it, and what you feel the piece should sell for--all will be factored in to the price we place on the piece.

Upon receiving your furniture, antiques, artworks or collectibles,you will be given a copy of the consignment contract with all consigned items listed.  You can call anytime to find out if something has sold, or check your personal account listing online.  Payment will be mailed out for amounts over $20. You are also welcome to "cash-in" your earnings as store credit within the shop.
